Frequently Asked Questions
1. General Introduction
What are sublimation blank products?
Sublimation blanks are specially coated or polyester-based items such as mugs, t-shirts, pillows, phone cases, etc. They are designed for sublimation printing to produce vivid and long-lasting designs.
What types of sublimation products do you offer?
We offer mugs, bottles, t-shirts, pillowcases, mouse pads, phone cases, ceramic plates, puzzles, photo slates, keychains, frames, bags, and more.
Who are these products suitable for?
They are widely used for personalized gifts, online sellers, promotional campaigns, corporate branding, team apparel, and small studios or factories.
2. Usage & Compatibility
What equipment is required for sublimation?
You need a sublimation printer, sublimation ink, transfer paper, and a heat press (flat press, mug press, or vacuum press depending on the product).
Can all products be sublimated directly?
No. Only polyester fabrics or items with a sublimation coating (ceramic, metal, glass, etc.) can be sublimated.
What are your fabrics made of?
Our fabric items usually contain over 90% polyester for vivid colors and durability.
How does sublimation differ from screen or UV printing?
Sublimation dyes penetrate the material and won’t peel or fade, while screen/UV prints stay on the surface and may wear over time.
3. Product Quality
How do you ensure product quality?
All products go through strict checks for appearance, coating uniformity, and heat resistance to meet sublimation standards.
Is the sublimation coating uniform?
Yes, coatings are even and glossy to ensure clean transfer. Contact support if you encounter issues.
Will there be color differences?
Blank products show almost no color variance. Printing results may differ based on equipment, inks, and settings. Always test first.
How durable are sublimated prints?
Designs remain vibrant for years under normal use without peeling or fading.
Do fabric items shrink or fade?
No. Our polyester fabrics are heat- and wash-resistant. Avoid prolonged hot soaking.
Are your products safe?
Yes. They comply with FDA, RoHS, and REACH standards and are free from BPA, lead, and cadmium.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We cover quality defects and shipping damages. Non-quality issues are not covered.
How do you ensure quality consistency in bulk orders?
We run batch testing and sampling to guarantee bulk consistency with samples.
4. Sublimation Process & Operation
What is the recommended temperature and time for sublimation?
It varies by product:
• Ceramic mug: 180℃ / 180s
• Polyester T-shirt: 190℃ / 40s
• Pillowcase: 190℃ / 45s
• Metal sheet: 190℃ / 60s
How to avoid blurry or ghost images?
Fix transfer paper firmly, ensure even temperature/pressure, and use artwork at least 300 DPI.
Why do colors look lighter than on screen?
Screens use RGB while sublimation prints in CMYK. Use ICC color profiles for better accuracy.
Why are there white edges after printing?
It may be caused by loose transfer paper or uneven pressure. Adjust accordingly.
Why does the design look dull?
Possible causes: low ink, insufficient time/temperature, or poor transfer paper. Check step by step.
Can failed sublimation be reprinted?
No. Sublimation is irreversible once the design penetrates the material. Test before bulk production.
5. Other Common Questions
What’s the difference between sublimation mugs and regular mugs?

Do you provide samples?
Yes, sample orders are available to test quality and results.
Are your products eco-friendly?
Yes. We offer eco-friendly items like bamboo products and BPA-free plastics.
